I worked for a carpet cleaning company in Larkspur Ca. to get me through College. I did notice that the company I worked for made some pretty good money. After graduating from college I worked another year for the company and received my llCRC in carpet cleaning.. In 1987 I struck out on my own forming a carpet cleaning business in Mill Valley. I had only one van and petty much doing the work on my own. Finding the work turned out the be the hard part. Money, money, money, where was the money? The first few years were hard. One day I received a phone call for an estimate and it turned out to be a large building. Landing that job changed everything. My work is quality work and that allowed my to expand as I acquired more and more commercial work. Ten years later i bought four more vans with two employees in each. working them in both commercial and residential. Today I am petty much in the office working with area rugs, but I try to get out in the field.
