In 1999, I stared the business with a small portable cold water machine. At the time, I was 21 and was also working as a waiter in a local restaurant. Later I was referred to other clients and I made the small investment in a better portable machine with a heater. After 4 years in the restaurant business and doing side jobs with my carpet cleaning machine, I purchased a truck mounted unit and began cleaning carpets full time.
