Tim set up and managed the business through the use of Yellow Page advertising, and word of mouth referrals. My experience came from hands-on cleaning jobs along with Von Schrader schooling. As an apprentice, Von Schrader's technical staff coached me and got me through the challenging projects. In 1991 I branched out and added office cleaning accounts. In November 1993 we landed our first major retailer and completed the carpet cleaning contract at JC Penney, in Poughkeepsie NY.
