Capital Rug Cleaning specializes in professional rug cleaning and rug repair services for area rugs, Oriental carpets, Persian rugs, wool, silk, antique, braided, tufted, fine family heirloom carpets. We do not use rug cleaning machines, rotary scrubbers, rug washtubs, or large industrial rug feeding machines. Every rug is hand washed after first dusting the rug to remove loose soil, and after analyzing for dye bleeding. Two rugs are never washed simultaneously and never share the same unclean water. This eliminates cross-contamination problems. No color damage, pile distortion, shrinkage, or odor. Our traditional rug-washing by hand process means we do not use carpet scrubbing, or rotary machines, water tanks, wash-tubs, or large industrial machines. Our 7-10 step rug washing process is applied to each rug. Washing rugs by hand and cleaning area rugs in-plant (not in-home), the individualized rug cleaning process ensures the removal of rug stains, dirt, grit, sand, and allergens, without the worry of color run, pile damage, shrinkage, or odor.
