The owner of Ambrose Carpets, BJ Ambrose, had always wanted to own his own business. After college, BJ worked in a corporate job but was very interested in the home services industry because he had spent summers in college working in Wyoming for his uncles in construction. Being a Denver native, BJ saw the rapid growth that Denver was experiencing and saw his opportunity to start his business so in 1999 he left his corporate job and founded Ambrose Carpets. The company began as a carpet cleaning business and then expanded into new carpet sales and installation. As things grew, his wife Clare also left her corporate job and joined Ambrose Carpets. In 2017, BJ bought a restoration company which is now called Ambrose Restoration which was a perfect complement to the carpet business. Clare and BJ currently run both businesses along with a great team of employees who have been part of the company for years.
