How Bay Area Dry-Carb came to be was that, after getting into the carpet cleaning business back in 1983, and working for a couple of franchises, I realized that as a tech(only making a 10-25% commision on all jobs done) I was pushed to “up-sell” customers in order to make a liviing by selling them additional treatments, ie: traffic lane, spot removers, browning treatments, etc…add infinum. It was not fair to the customer or the technician and all the while the franchise owners made great profits. In 2007 I started my company on credit-cards with the “Mission Statement” Be fair to the customer and myself and, in a nut-shell that's how Bay Area Dry-Carb started.
