Yelp gives us only 3 stars, but the Better Business Bureau gives us an A+, their highest grade. Somebody is wrong, but whom? Yelp has been in business since 2004; the BBB began in 1912. Yelp exists to make a profit; the BBB is non-profit. Yelp encourages complete anonymity from its reviewers, and makes no effort to verify the truth of any claim. The BBB requires full name and contact info from all consumers, and encourages member businesses to attempt a satisfactory resolution for every complaint. Many businesses have concluded that Yelp “filters” positive reviews unless you're a paid Yelp advertiser, and doesn't allow a business to opt out; the BBB requires only an annual membership fee from each member business to maintain accreditation. Nobody at Yelp can explain their mysterious “algorithm” that randomly filters their reviews; the BBB posts every unfiltered complaint and consumer issue online. We have been here for more than seventeen years, and 85% of our dozens of weekly satisfied customers are regulars. Yes, Yelp hates us, but that's okay. Anybody who relies on their House of Mirrors to make informed consumer decisions might as well flip a coin. At least that's honest.
