B.A.S.I.C. is an acronym standing for Brothers And Sisters In Christ. This name was chosen from a desire to reach out to what Jesus refers to in Matthew 25:40 as “the least of these”. Although it is not specific to whom Jesus is referring to, one of the principle views is, He was speaking of all who are hungry, thirsty, poor, in need or otherwise distressed. We have had it on our heart for many years to build a mission in NW Arkansas, that would offer those in need with that much needed hand up, and not just a hand out. In 2014 the Lord put into our path a wonderful Christian based company appropriately name “The Masters Touch”, that had this exact mission as their business model. The founders of T.M.T., George and Marla Burns started this journey/leap of faith, when they sold their car and bought a used carpet cleaning van!
